Ben grew up in Scottsdale, AZ working his father's pool route. After graduate school, Ben worked as an estate manager for some of America's leading families. He returned to Arizona and built a thriving, full-service pool company with several hundred monthly clients. In 2025 he relocated to Kensington, MD and founded DC PoolWorks.​​
